Location next to the attractions and away from hustle and bustle. What's more, getting to kedar ghat on foot takes about 15 mins.

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat surrounded by a beautiful garden. the breathtaking views of the lunar Ganges and ancient temples added to the charm of the location. it was conveniently located close to everything, making it easy to explore the nearby river side. the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. the breakfast offered a variety of delicious vegetarian options to choose from.
I found the menu options for lunch and dinner to be limited.

The 24-hour front desk was clutch for our late-night shenanigans. The guest house had 15 comfy rooms where we could chill and catch up on the latest gossip. When we weren't exploring the city, we had a blast entertaining ourselves with massages and chilling in the garden. It was the perfect spot for our teenage crew!
The only thing we wished for was a kick-ass party zone where we could have wild dance-offs and late-night fun with our friends. A happening DJ and a cool hangout spot would have taken our stay to the next level.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel by the Ganges. the ambiance was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. the staff was incredibly helpful and polite, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the on-site restaurant was a convenient option, serving delicious food. the location, right in front of the Ganga River, added a magical touch to our experience. it was the perfect place to relax after exploring the bustling city. the breakfast was delicious and they even offered lunch and dinner services. the hot water in the clean bathrooms was a plus. We also appreciated the laundry service and the taxi driver provided by the hotel. We highly recommend their massage services and the nearby restaurant called Root. Thank you for a great stay!
Nothing that we didn't like 😊.

I chose Sri Yoga Mandir for its convenient location near the Dashashwamedh Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the option to rent bicycles and cars from the tour desk. This made exploring Varanasi much easier and enjoyable.
My request for a quiet room was not met. Despite being assured of tranquility, there was ongoing noisy construction work in the rooms facing the yard.

I had an absolute blast at this yoga Ashram! Stunning views of the Ganges, evening Aarti, and a chance to immerse myself in the rich history of Varanasi. I even got to witness traditional dance performances. Such a memorable experience!
Missing out on the quiet room I requested. Endless construction noise?

We loved the location of the place - near Assi Ghat with easy access via autos. The hospitality of the host and their family was exceptional. The complimentary breakfast, when we did have it, was of superior quality and a delightful Desi Varanasi experience. The host was always generous and accommodating with our needs, providing a heater and hair dryer. The property itself was spacious and offered a beautiful view. we had an extremely satisfactory trip.

Scenic Terrace Setting: As I sat on the terrace of this serene temple of yoga, it felt as if I was floating on a cloud, with the Ganges flowing below me. The view was simply breathtaking, a true feast for the eyes.
Room Cleaning Oversight: While the room itself was clean, the housekeeping staff overlooked emptying the trash can and cleaning the bathroom. A minor oversight, but it would have been more satisfying if attention was paid to all aspects of room cleaning.

The Ganga Deluxe room I stayed in at Sri Yoga Mandir had an incredible view of the river and garden from its balcony. It felt amazing to wake up to the sight of the rising sun! The room was quite spacious and had a lovely atmosphere with its bright lighting and green surroundings. It instantly made me feel refreshed and at peace. The tile/marble flooring and seating area with a sofa added a touch of luxury to the room. It was a great spot to unwind and relax after a busy day of exploring Varanasi.
Personally, I would have liked a bit more variety in the seating options. Although the room had a sofa, I felt it would have been nice to have a couple of chairs as well.
